OVERVIEW
The Area of Excellence (AoE) Scheme project on the "Study of the Regional Earth System for Sustainable Development under Climate Change in the Greater Bay Area" (Earth-HK) officially started in January 2024. This summer, thanks to the dedicative support from project members, Earth-HK has completed a few comprehensive field surveys in Shenzhen Bay, Greater Bay Area, Pearl River Estuary (PRE), and its shelf water.
This Annual Workshop will be a platform for members to present their fieldwork summaries, and research progress, and engage in scientific exchange.

Participation quotas will be allocated primarily to project members and invited speakers.

All registered participants will receive an acknowledgment via email with a QR code for access to the campus two days before the event date.
When arriving at the PolyU campus, the visitor(s) shall present and scan the QR Code at the entry points. Upon successful validation, the visitor(s) can enter the campus.

MTR: Get off at Hung Hom station on the East Rail Line or Tuen Ma Line, take the footbridge at Exit A1 to reach PolyU main campus.
