WavyOcean is a pioneering digital-twin system that integrates ocean-land-atmosphere data to create a real-time, interactive 3D immersive visualization platform for the diagnosis, analysis, and prediction of ocean and regional earth systems. Built on Earth system science, artificial intelligence, and new technologies, it serves academic research, environmental monitoring, climate assessment, and the development of blue industries.

The platform embodies a groundbreaking "Taohai" (淘海) concept, allowing users to freely search, filter, and combine data to flexibly visualize ocean information based on their needs. This marks a shift from making ocean data available only to researchers, to open access for the public and professionals. The upgraded WavyOcean 3.0 boasts three technological edges:

  • Global Connectivity: Achieving the first three-dimensional coupling modeling of "ocean-land-atmosphere.
  • Seamless Virtual Navigation: Introducing a three-dimensional immersive interactive experience.
  • Derivable Analytical Variables: Unlocking the scientific codes behind the data.
