Earth-HK is preparing to host the first field survey for the Greater Bay Area for this project during the summer of 2024. The field survey can serve as a dynamic platform to foster the exchange of research ideas and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration. The field survey will be led by Prof. Yi Liu and Qixing Ji, along with Dr. Weicong Cheng.
To ensure a successful survey, the 1st Field Survey Planning Meeting in the Ocean and Land of the Greater Bay Area (GBA) was held at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). During the meeting, all participants engaged in a discussion on survey plans and logistic arrangements.
