Study of the Regional Earth System for Sustainable Development under
Climate Change in the Greater Bay Area (Earth-HK)

Opening Ceremony and First Symposium

OVERVIEW
By understanding the complexities of the regional earth system, EARTH-HK aims to develop innovative strategies for sustainable development. Through collaborative efforts, we hope to advance our understanding of the regional earth system (RES) and develop strategies for sustainable development in the Greater Bay Area (GBA).

The Opening Ceremony and First Symposium of the Area of Excellence (AoE) project on the "Study of the Regional Earth System for Sustainable Development under Climate Change in the Greater Bay Area" (Earth-HK) will bring together project members, experts, and policymakers to have an in-depth discussion on the regional earth system. This symposium will also serve as a platform for our research team to present and discuss the preliminary progress of the project and strategize the next steps in our research.

REGISTRATION
Online registration is now open until 31 January 2024. Please click here to access the online registration form.

Participation quotas will be allocated primarily to project members and invited speakers. For public participants, successful registrants will be informed of the acceptance for attending the symposium via email on or before 29 February 2024.
