Climate Change in the Greater Bay Area (Earth-HK)
Annual Workshop 2026
OVERVIEW
The Area of Excellence (AoE) Scheme project on the "Study of the Regional Earth System for Sustainable Development under Climate Change in the Greater Bay Area" (Earth-HK) officially started in January 2024. Thanks to the dedicative support from project members, Earth-HK has completed a few comprehensive field surveys in Shenzhen Bay, Greater Bay Area, Pearl River Estuary (PRE), and its shelf water in last summer.
This yeasr's workshop will be host jointly with Center for Ocean Research in Hong Kong and Macau (CORE), focusing on the progress, challenges, future direction of our AoE project and the field survey plan in the summer.
REGISTRATION
Online registration is now open until 26 June 2026. Please click here to access the online registration form.
Participation quotas will be allocated primarily to project members and invited speakers.
